It is said that this country is the home of the brave; on this cold and dreary day in Philadelphia, hundreds of people again united at Independence Park to mark the anniversary of the immigrant rally of one year ago. Again, the snow came, again the people confronted physical opposition to declare that they are still here, hoping that the Congress does its job in gathering all inputs to reform the laws of immigration. The principles stated in the proclamation were again pledged to except that the people came to gather their hopes, to light a candle in behalf of the Senators, and to express solidarity.
